Steel Horse Automotive started when Dan Zawalsky decided that enough was enough. Dan's friends had too many mechanic horror stories to tell, so he decided to make a change. Dan earned his college degree, completed his apprenticeship, and then earned his Inter-Provincial Certification as an Automotive Technician. His education provided him with the expertise to work in any shop setting. This includes small independents and large chains. Finally, he was ready to start his own business and found the right location. He bought the equipment and began operating in the spring of 2011.
