Westland Gallery

Westland Gallery, co-owned by Al & Karen Stewart, is located in a heritage facility in Wortley Village. We represent up-and-coming and well-established artists from London and the surrounding area. We have fresh exhibits every three weeks and a collection of several hundred original art pieces from localized artists. I am drawn to the tactile friction and play of textures, where planes of surfaces meet. The twisted bramble and tangled undergrowth competing for light and space. A play of forces, where color and temperature meld or clash for dominance - a battle of the elements, Earth, Sky, Water, and all they encompass. I hold that an Artist interprets best those things which they understand intimately…what surrounds them personally and they touch daily…what affects them on a deep emotional level whether conscious or unconscious. For me, this is the unblemished Ontario landscape… twisted, unshackled, and incomplete…a work in progress, continually growing and striving towards light, strength, and release from constraint.

One of London's top galleries offering various media and genres for visitors, home to the well-known, Square Foot Show, this gallery is a must for all art lovers; Its friendly staff are very supportive and knowledgeable, always available to make recommendations and offer helpful advice. Recently, as a customer with a total house remodeling, the gallery lent me a few orientation services. Meeting Danielle was a moment to remember forever. Danielle made picking up artworks easier and less time consuming. Her skills and ideas make sure all the work has glamour. I realized the value of her services when we arranged all the works at the entrance.antino. I enjoyed my time at the gallery throughout the holiday.. I will undoubtedly utilize its orientation services next time the need arises. I cannot thank them more for their help. They do a great job in promoting art through their diverse exhibitions. and my stay interesting. Visiting the gallery is a plenty of experience for me, given the numerous, exciting arts and feeling of relaxation.
