YMCA Gym

YMCA Gym Canada's YMCA is dedicated to the growth of each person in body, mind, and spirit. They consider their connection and their responsibility to one another and the wider community. There are 35 local YMCAs across Canada and several YMCA-YWCAs, each with its individual mission statement to meet its community's needs. Canadian YMCA Federation comprises a national office, 39 member associations, and a central office. All affiliates have the same overarching goal but may adjust their strategies to tackle unique challenges. All YMCA organizations share the same mission of "building healthy communities through the power of belonging." The first YMCA in Canada was established in 1851, and we have been working together ever since. Canadian YMCAs and YMCA-YWCAs improve the well-being of all community members, regardless of their background. Healthcare, employment, supportive housing, education, and other vital services are available. We also run camps, daycares, leadership programs, and other services that help youth, families, and the elderly.
