Our bathroom was just done by RFS and the person that we deal with is Mike Barak. I saw the ad near No Frills and their flyer is saying payment is $49.00 bi-weekly. I called the number there and after about 2 weeks, Mike finally went to our house. I was supposed to have Mike estimate the total cost to renovate our washroom in full because it was old. His first quotation was $16,500 and I asked him if payment will be immediate. He said payment will only be after 3-6 months. Because of that promise, I asked him how much is the interest of the financing and he replied around 6.99 to 7.99 which for me is already ok. Not knowing that the interest of Financeit is 13.99 and payment is right away and not after 3 months. The worst he also told us that due to a lot of work involved we have to pay 3,500 more so total contract price now is $20K. Since renovation has already started and I want to have an extra full washroom we have no choice but to agree. Because of that experience, I asked him about the glass door of the shower room and he said that it will only be curtain and not glass sliding door. If I want it I have to pay an extra 3,000. I said no more enough of his lies and I saw how rude he is and he was not the first Mike that I met when I was not his client yet. In other words I did not consent with the addl payment and we ended up having curtains as cover for our shower. The painting also we waited for 4 days before a painter come and mind you I told them that the color is light gray but they said they will only do the basic color white. MY ADVICE TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WILL READ THIS REVIEW "DONT EVER EVER BE FOOLED BY A CERTAIN MIKE BARAK. HE IS A SCAMMER AND THE WILL JUST GIVE YOU FALSE PROMISES AND WILL GET ALL YOUR MONEY BUT DELIVER A VERY POOR AND BASIC WASHROOM BUT THEY ARE PROMISING YOU A VERY HIGH END WASHROOM. NEXT TIME, DONT TRUST DO A RESEARCH FIRST. BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCE I AM GIVING THIS RFS A RATING OF NEGATIVE 0. LOUSY SERVICE AND VERY RUDE PERSONNEL. THEY WILL GET THEIR OWN KARMA FOR FOOLING OTHER PEOPLE. THEY JUST TAKE AWAY YOUR HARD EARN MONEY AND THATS IT HE WILL ENJOY OTHER'S PEOPLE MONEY. Company that reels you in with deceit, false promises,gets you to sign documents while threatening to stop the job, takes away services mid contract to make profit, after having paid half your budget.
