Kerri learned about the available financial resources in 2004, provided by the City of Markham's Summer Company Program, which encourages students to start their own businesses. Kerri immediately started writing the business plan for Russell Aquatics Swim School. PARENT and TOT Swim Program (6:1 Ratio) for our young children between the ages of 6 months and 3 years requires that they must have a diaper and guardian (Parent) with them at all times. All children learn by repetition, teaching, playing, word association, and constant lessons. Our little fish are taught to swim underwater by careful supervision and are not thrown in. They are gently dipped. Our lessons are taught in a gentle and controlled way so the child does not panic and enjoy it at the same time. We provide Lifesaving Society Water Smart(r), tips to keep your child safe at all times in an aquatic environment, even if they cannot swim.
