About this business

Deerfield Hall opened in the summer of 1967 when the University of Toronto built it as a temporary academic building. To accommodate 155 students, there were 28 faculty members, 40 staff, and 28 faculty members. It has become Canada's second-largest university and the campus with the largest student enrolment. UTM boasts 15,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students. There are also 3,800 part- and full-time workers (over 1,250 permanent staff and faculty) and 65,000 alumni. U of T Mississauga houses 18 academic units (15 departments and two institutions) and offers 180+ programs. The campus also features 90 study areas such as the Institute for Management & Innovation, the Institute of Communication, Culture, Information and Technology, the Centre for South Asian Civilizations, and the Centre for Urban Environments. The Terrence-Donnelly Health Sciences complex, which houses the Mississauga Academy of Medicine, is also on campus.
