PhD. in Psychology from Queens University in Belfast. I hold a license from the Canadian College of Psychologists as a Clinical Psychologist. I am a Chartered Psychologist of both the British Psychological Society (UK) and the Psychological Society of Ireland. Before I became a Clinical Psychology practitioner, I was a Cognitive Psychology teacher at Dublin City University. I was an employee at the National Development Training Institute as Head of Assessment, Roslyn College, Dublin in 1990. My employment at the Health Service Executive HSE was for several years as a Clinical Psychologist, involved in planning and delivering psychological services. I had training responsibilities, training other professionals in the health sector, and supervising Doctorate Psychology students.
