I'm in the process of having a bridge loan done on a property that I have made an offer on. The possession date for my home is May 16th and the possession date for the house I wish tto buy is for May 1st. However, I've requested to bump up the possessin date of the house I'm moving to for April 2nd. Therefore, because it takes about two weeks to sort out the documents, after being approved by the underwriter, makes it necessary to compplete these documenmts in a timely fashion. This was started 10 days ago and the "specialist" still hasn'e gotten approval and he gets information mixed up and has a real hard time responding to emails or phone calls in a timely manner. I'm 70, I recieve OAS and CPP and he thought I was still working. He has my bank statements and my wife and sent him our CPP and OAS statements that I pulled from the CRA. Unfortunetly the print off from the CRA doesn"t diferentiate between my wifes of mine.....no SIN or name. They can't except those forms even if they cross reference my bank staements to show them what we receive. I have had about ten different mortages and have never gone through something this bad. Very unprofesional and I live near CAlgary but the "specialist" is from Toronto. I cannot get a hold of anyone from the mortgage department and I've been waiting for three hours now to hear a response from them. I renew my mortgae next year, my investor is top notch with my investments however, I WILL NOT RENEW MY MORTGAGE WITH THEM because of the communications problems, lack of inperson calls rather than through texts and emails, and misinformation. My best interests are not being dealt with in a proper way nor can they expedite this in a timely fashion. When you need someone quickly, your looking at a couple of days for any response which is not acceptable.
