Combining O'Marra & Elliott's 65 years of talent and experience, our attorneys have shielded the legal rights of our clients and found the optimal solutions. Originally, the firm was O'Marra and O'Marra in 1952 when brothers Alfred O'Marra and Thomas O'Marra founded it. Both brothers practiced side-by-side, serving south Mississauga's good people for years. As is customary in those days, the firm was full service, with Thomas O'Marra proffering solid family law advice and Alfred O'Marra offering criminal law advice as a revered trial lawyer. Brian O'Marra, Thomas's son, practiced with the firm before becoming a Crown Attorney and then a Justice of the Superior Court of Ontario in 2011. Alfred's sons, Alfred O'Marra Jr and Paul O'Marra, soon became lawyers and joined the family firm. Alfred O'Marra Jr became a Crown Attorney and became a Justice of the Superior Court of Ontario in 2007. Paul O'Marra's law school colleague, Keith Elliott, joined the firm in 1993, practicing exclusively in family law. Together, Paul O'Marra and Keith Elliott grew the firm to its current state, changing the name to O'Marra and Elliott after both Alfred and Thomas O'Marra retired. In keeping with his father's and brother's tradition, Paul O'Marra was appointed as a Justice in the Ontario Court, Provincial Division, in December 2016.
