Kim's lifelong passion for animals began when she was a child. Kim raised orphaned animals in her youth, a practice that would become her career as she worked in veterinary clinics. Kim decided to go back to school and enrolled in Northern College Haileybury in ON to study to become a registered veterinary technician. Kim was a technician for almost 10 years. Kim had two children and wanted to open her dream business. Her company is based on her lifelong love for animals. She met the needs of every animal through her business. Kim knew dogs' behavior inside and out because of her one-on-one experience with them. Mila, a Thai streetdog, was her first opportunity to study and understand the biology and ethics of animals. Kim discovered that she could draw from her experience and that understanding dogs so well could change the world.
