Arts education allows students to exercise creative and critical thinking. Pupils use dance, drama, and media arts, as well as music and visual art. Such a full engagement in the arts can allow your child to maximize their God-given potential. The arts help students find their voice, develop self-expression and confidence and understand themselves. The elementary arts curriculum is for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Pupils focus on dance, drama, and music knowledge and skills. The secondary arts curriculum is for students in Grades 9 to 12. Students must achieve at least one Art Credit in Media Arts, Visual Arts, or Drama to graduate high school. The arts can be appreciated by pupils outside of school. They can take part in choirs or school bands, musical or theatrical performances, or present their art at exhibitions and galleries.
