Founded in 1995 by Angela Prosser and Diane Schofield, HOOFERS PERFORMING ARTS has enjoyed a growing reputation. For 25 years, the school has been a trailblazer in dance schools for discipline, professionalism, and training. The teacher in charge of Hoofers had gained a reputation for developing tap dancers rapidly and that earned her the name "Hoofer". Hoofers has been able to bring all dance genres to the same level of excellence and this was made possible by an exceptional staff. Our staff is made up of predominantly former students, some of whom are involved in the teaching or choreography. The "Hoofing" originated in the Harlem Streets where people were shown their talent and later the HOOFERS Club was founded. The great tap dancers from that era were known for their talent. Hoofers were those "tap dancers" who had the ability to sing, act, and dance in addition to the other type of dance. They could do a one-man show if needed. These people are now known as Triple Threats, due to the evolution of the industry. It should be remembered that the dancing started out of a pure passion for art. Everything fades out, but our friendship will last forever. Teachers who have completed all required training in teacher education and have obtained the highest qualifications work to maintain high quality. Our aim is to create a passion for dancing that will not only provide entertainment for years to come but also a tool that will have a positive impact on the future. Former and current students of Hoofers are either pursuing a professional dance career or using the skills they have acquired over the years to teach dance to the next generations. These young dancers train other dancers, advertisers, etc., and pass their love for dancing it to the next vbCrLf

The reviewer mentions an experience where their daughter no longer disliked ballet after enrolling at Hoofers Performance Academy. The community grows dancers and is very supportive of students. Students feel motivated to work hard and have a passion for the craft. Some of the teachers mentioned in the testimonials are Miss Stephanie and Miss Rachel. A review illustrates Rachel's ability to get kids excited to dance and help build their skills in the process. Scheduler also mentions how Rachel and other teachers push her daughter. Not having to motivate your child to go to an extracurricular studio that's this busy is every parent's dream. Overall, the feedback shows that dancers, parents, and teachers love Hoofers Performance Academy. A child that can love and work hard at something they do 6 days a week is passionate; the parents that wrote their thoughts as a review have every reason to feel fulfilled.
