Shelby has been a pet professional for over 10 years. She started at 14 in Courtice, Ontario, caring for horses. She went on to work at a pet store in Lindsay, Ontario, where her passion for animals grew. After college, Shelby moved to Calgary to work at Pisces Pet Emporium, the largest pet store in North America, where she learned a lot about animals like dogs, monkeys, and reptiles. When Hank, her rescued dog, needed training, she chose Sit! Happens. She volunteered to learn about positive reinforcement at the dog daycare and training center, enjoyed it, and eventually trained dogs herself. Shelby took it a step further and taught classes for the Calgary Humane Society to train rescue dogs to go to their final forever homes. To obtain more information, Shelby and Arrow, her dog, completed the Karen Pryor Academy dog trainer program. We have been in business for over 15 years. Our company is known for its Force-Free Obedience training, which works well for dogs and puppies and results in long-term results. We offer our services in Durham Region, Clarington, and Peterborough. We are also not related to any other Mutts.
