The Novice level 1 course is designed to teach your dog the necessary skills to be successful at Rally Obedience. Many people enroll in this course to master the art of loose leash walking. Rally is interactive and keeps your dog interested in you. They learn to pivot, circle, weave in and out, and maintain a slow or fast pace. Your dog will also practice spirals to the right and left, run around you, make 270-degree turns, and learn to follow you anywhere. This is a class for all breeds and ages. This class is especially beneficial for senior citizens as it works their mind and body. Courses are held once a week and will continue on that day and time. The courses are 45 minutes long. No classes are held on weekends or holidays. If this happens, the course will be shifted to the next week.
