About Edith Betkowski, Ottawa’s top photographer and critic. Alpha Art Gallery was founded by Edith Betkowski, the company’s curator, in Ottawa, between 2012 and 2021. She was also an event/exhibition organizer and entertainment host. The gallerist opened a new location on Sussex Street and attracted more than forty artists to the gallery. Today, this visionary and lively gallery moves to a bigger venue. Alpha & Omega, the newest and most dynamic gallery in Ottawa, is located at 539 Sussex Drive. A talented, passionate, and experienced professional, Edith has an intuitive ability to understand art and an extensive network of talented and innovative Canadian artists. The gallerist also has a vast list of trusted buyers who can rely on her to present fresh, interesting, and stimulating artworks from up-and-coming and established Canadian artists.
