Canterbury High School

More than 1300 creative thinkers call Canterbury, located in southeast Ottawa, home. The school’s tradition of excellence is reflected in its vibrant student body, which includes those from the local community and selected Arts Canterbury students. The students are energized, inspired, and focused, showing a high degree of artistry and passion for their school and community. The Arts Canterbury program invites students to study the art form that appeals to them. We provide Dance, Music, Theatre, Literature, and Visual Arts instruction. Canterbury is also a champion of diversity and inclusion. sports teams, for instance, give all students a chance to make new friends and enjoy physical activity, regardless of their skill level. Schools have a greater goal than just academics, and here at Canterbury, we want to inspire our students to be the best they can be.
