Later on, the owner told me to pick up the vehicle at 12:00 noon on Tuesday. As I drove there, I received a message from the salesrep at 11:58 am that the car was not ready. They had to reschedule the pick-up to 2:00 pm because the car needed to be registered. I asked them to deliver it with compensation or refund my money. However, they told me that I could not get a refund as I had signed a contract. The owner later contacted me, and we agreed on a credit of 200 US dollars. After hearing a background noise of swearing and hollering, they promised me that I would receive the car at the end of the day on Wednesday. However, the car was still at the mechanic shop being serviced for safety. I was informed that the car was not at the shop for registration purposes as I had been informed by the sales rep. They became silent at this time. On Wednesday, I reached out to the owner, and he promised that I would get my car by 5:00 pm. I called him at 4:30 pm and informed him that I could not take the car today. Two minutes after the close, he informed me that it was too short for the owner to pick up the car. I was getting frustrated because he had said that he made a loss in readiness for my car. He made the decision to either bring the car during the long weekend or pick it at the car yard. I told him that I would send my colleague to pick up the car. He never replied up to date. I demanded my deposit back, and he said that he would mail it to me. In the morning, he told me that I could get a refund if I could drive to Pickering. They lied about having the car ready for registration, and the owner could not deliver the car as promised.
