Knights Law Professional Corporation was founded by Shawn Knights, a St. Catharines, Ontario lawyer. Shawn helps clients manage family law matters and other legal disputes. In addition, he offers services to create and update wills and powers of attorney. Shawn's clients benefit from his varied legal practices, which often overlap. Knights' legal services will bring relief and protect his client's rights when the rosters don't feel they are being served or heard, or clients seek his legal and negotiation skills in litigation. His youth involved churches in Niagara, which is why Shawn made estate planning a core part of his practice. Clients' families are kept as private as possible. Probate taxes and fees are reduced, and they use their funds to support Vikie and their two children, daughter Pamela and son Hendrik. Shawn holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall, York University, and graduated in 2013. He specialized in Criminal Law and Litigation, Dispute resolution, and Administration of Justice. He also earned a BA in History and Political Science from Osgoode Hall at York University in 2013. Shawn was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2014 and worked as an associate at two different law firms before gaining experience as corporate counsel at a multinational corporation. In addition, he also formed his own company, Knights Law Incorporated, which was ultimately dissolved before starting Knights Law Professional Corporation. Before attending law school, Shawn was a Reserve Commissioned Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, where he gained leadership skills that helped him lead his law firm. Shawn was a political assistant to the Premier for eight years before attending law school. When Shawn started his career as a lawyer, he requested our firm to take the commitfdfment to represent their clients'children's interests more seriously, which we did. He always tried to make sure that all of his clients wanted their children to have the best possible experiences. He has always been involved with his children. Kids need their fathers, he told us, which is why he sought our commitment to our clients to fight for fair child support every time. Raised in a religious family saved his religious perspective, and Shawn has always been active in the Niagara community. He has been involved with the Niagara church since he was a youth leader. This has led to his values living in Niagara.
