Worst experience with a lawyer ever!! Even though she was recommended and has a lot of good reviews, it was a terrible interaction with Amanda herself. I will admit I was late for our appointment because I was trying to get the down payment straightened out as to who to make the cheque out to Called the office to let them know what was happening. No reply. And I had received no emails stating the process either I finally got everything straightened out and arrived at her office where my husband was waiting. We sat in an office with two pens placed in front of us, one for each of us, and we waited. When she entered the office I said hello, she didn’t even responded on look at me. She sat down and began flipping through documents and talking really fast. The cheque was in the wrong amount. When I stated that I received no information regarding the proper amount, she said that I was sent an email. When I responded that I haven’t received any emails or my husband. She looked right at me and said VERY RUDELY that I WAS sent it because she was copied on it. I felt like I was being called a liar or not responsible. I said again that we hadn’t received it and she basically ignored us and moved on. When the time came to sign the papers, my husband and I were unconsciously sharing a pen when she asked if we received two pens?? I said yes, and she said “I suggest you use them” Wow!! Just wow!! We finished the transaction and said a quick goodbye. I couldn’t wait to get out of there!! My husband also witnessed her colleagues bickering about real estate agents and clients!! Last week I received a call requesting that I answer their email regarding some documents that they needed or return their call ASAP. Once again I , nor my husband, received any emails from their office. I emailed the requested documents right away. No reply. I called the office, left a message to return my call that Friday. No reply. Monday, I called again to make sure they received the documents that they needed. Left a message. No reply. Today, Thursday I called and left another message. This time her secretary called me back. Yes they received documents. I then asked what email address they were using to send their requests?? THEY INPUTED THE INCORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS!! Even though I emailed them first from my account. The way this entire process has been handled blows my mind!! So unprofessional. So righteous. And not even an apology. She is the cheapest in town for a reason!! Beware people!! If you enjoy being treated like trash, this is the woman for you!!
