Thunder Bay Law Association

The Thunder Bay Law Association (TBLA) was established in 1905. Approximately 290 lawyers from the District of Thunder Bay on the northwestern coast of Lake Superior are members. The association has a Board of Directors composed of 20 members, who meet monthly all year round. Various committees are formed where necessary. The voluntary organization serves as the local bar association. It offers continuing legal education and a specialized law library to members, organizes social activities, and advocates on matters affecting the legal industry to the government and the public.
