Bikechain is a non-profit bike shop located at the University of Toronto. We strive to provide affordable bicycle repairs so everyone can enjoy cycling. The company was created as an alternative to high repair costs, and it also provides tools and training for do-it-yourself repairs.

The general vibe at Bikechain is encouraging and accepting, and everyone finds undeniable pleasure and skills there. The environment is cordial. You'll never have a bad experience, and you always leave with tons of knowledge. Everything is okay, and the mechanics are affordable and will ensure your bike is up and running again. All problems are sorted out and with staff and volunteers donations ensure new parts for your bike. It is heaven to learn, people are hospitable, including customers. We love it when people get to expand their bicycle knowledge. Everyone is competent, the shop is accessible and the bike repair experience is excellent. Everyone, no matter how little knowledge they have, is available, and does DIY, perfect for those on-campus. I learned the best of my bike. It was nerve-wracking losing my wheel, and the prices for the parts at the shop were equally horrifying. The process got smooth once the Bikechain Workshop got involved. The DIY opening is most ideal; there are caring people, and the tools available are good quality. The help was also humble, and I could do the repairs myself. I left with precious lessons. The bicycles found a problem. I was helped by friendly mechanics who made it easy for me to understand these technical issues.
