ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Nobody should handle the brain injury journey by himself. At the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST), we believe in being there for ABI survivors and their families as we navigate through the brain injury world. We offer programs, services, and advocacy that will revitalize the community to lead better lives. We strive to lead a community hallmarked by hope and resilience in an environment devoid of stigma. We are here to enhance survivors' experiences, lives, and those of their families as they recover from brain injuries. Our goal also includes improving awareness and inclusivity of a supportive community and navigating the uncharted post-ABI life. A Community of Caring Our mission is to help ABI survivors thrive in their lives and communities. We must help them engage and thrive in their daily life, enjoy social connections, and live a satisfied life. We are dedicated to offering free holistic services and support to survivors and their families. BIST's commitment is to provide free support group services, wellness programs, workshops, and services in a safe and welcoming space. We are committed to building an inclusive, familial environment where survivors can communicate, interact and mentor each other. ABI Community and Marginalized Communities As committed advocates, we work with other organizations to create synergies and form partnerships. We participate in various projects and committees dealing with ABI survivors to address misconceptions or prevailing issues. Our advocacy extends to supporting marginalized communities, including the homeless, the poor, and victims of family violence.ABI Community and Marginalized Communities As committed advocates, we work with other organizations to create synergies and form partnerships. SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

The organization offers a supportive atmosphere, resources, and camaraderie among persons affected by brain injury. The above statement summarizes a perfect place. There is a critical factor in such programs is that staff, performance, socializing lively, and individuals are completely satisfied sitting together. It is the best place to learn and grow.
