ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Claude Watson School for the Arts The Claude Watson School for the Arts is a specialized curriculum school for grade 4 to 8 students. It offers an enhanced arts education to children in Toronto with an inclination towards music, theatre, dance, and visual arts. All these pupils study all the four art disciplines. The school’s aims are to develop and accelerate aesthetic development, promote creativity and originality, as well as to establish a culture of academic and artistic success. Additionally, the program integrates the school with local artistic resources. The program strengthens each student's development by interacting with practicing artists. Physical Distance Through physical distance, shape concepts can be explored and expressed through the body's placement in space, the level, and energy of the body, and the timing. (CODE Recommendations p. 34) Additionally, floor markings, such as tapes, or visual cues, can help students with this task. The students can be supported by using masking tape. Dramatic strategies such as role-playing, scene work, and interviewing should be undertaken as a class, with a plan on seating formation, or in pairs or small groups while keeping the social distancing rules. Through physical distance, strategies that require partners or smaller groups to participate can be explored. These strategies include tableau dramatization and choral dramatics.  (CODE Recommendations p.22) Once again, visual cues such as floor markings can also be used to facilitate the activity. Students can also be supported by using masking tape.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Claude School and Restaurant Reviews: Claude receives positive comments with many clients indicating they feel it is a great and enjoyable place. One customer enjoyed the diversity of the menu and the outstanding service, stating that it had now become their go-to restaurant. There was some humor in the service, where the wait staff gently ribbed the clients. Some customers felt that the dining area had a lovely atmosphere and served delectable cuisine, but they mentioned a rather loud music system on the side. One client noted the school's many activities. There was also negative feedback that I was surprised by, including food issues such as a foreign object in a meal, children issues at the restaurant, and harassment at the restaurant's entrance, which could make you step back for a moment. That said, it is fairly clear that Claude has many positive comments from customers, and they like it and would recommend Claude.
