Welcome to Downtown Orthodontics! We have two state-of-the-art locations, Brampton and downtown Toronto, and have provided orthodontics for children and adults since 1993. Dr. Joanne Collins, DMD, offers a comprehensive range of orthodontic services. She uses the newest technologies to straighten teeth, improve bites, and create incredible smiles. Ceramic braces, often known as "clear braces," are popular among adults and teens because they are less visible than metal brackets. They need more maintenance and attention to guide your teeth into proper alignment. Metallic braces are often worn on the lower teeth because it isn't necessary to be as concerned with the aesthetic appearance. Ceramic braces may also be used to strive for the ideal position to straighten the teeth.
