Manor Road Co-Op Nursery School Inc, is Toronto's oldest cooperative, located in Midtown in the Davisville Village community. The Junior League established MRNS in 1935 to give children outdoor play opportunities. The parents took over the operation in 1937, creating Canada's first cooperative nursery school. MRNS continues to be the Church of the Transfiguration's oldest nursery school. The organization has been self-supporting, non-denominational, and non-profit from the start.
