Roberts Gallery

Established in 1842, Roberts Gallery is a renowned institution best acquired by the Wildridge’s in 1948. The gallery will commemorate its 75th birthday in 2023, having specialized in Canadian Art starting from the mid-1950s. It holds pride in representing some of Canada’s greatest artists. We deal strictly with Canadian artists, and our representation base is wide-ranging. We are also popular as a supplier of Canadian historical books. We have a cordial relationship with the estates of Arthur Shilling, Franklin Carmichael, John Gould, Carl Schaefer, A.J. Casson, and many more. Our contemporary artists are a diverse group of talented individuals, with landscape artists and abstract mixed-media artists from all over Canada. We show new exhibits every 3-4 weeks or so, both as solo shows or in group form. Our January show every year is the annual Artists Choice and features the newest work of all our contemporary artists. Every June, we also have the "Sketches" historical show. The owners, Paul Wildridge and Charlene Wildridge, from the early nineties, continue to discover new artists and present a wider body of work. Roberts Gallery is committed to presenting fine Canadian art and is known for its honesty and integrity.
