About this business

Rosedale Heights School of the Arts is a public, non-semester school in Toronto where you can be inspired to be your best academically, artistically, and athletically. Maclean's Magazine named Rosedale Heights School of the Arts one of the Top Ten Schools in Canada for 2005. Many students who enter the school remain for the academic and artistic excellence provided by the work of the dedicated teachers and guest artists. Talent and interest should not determine if one is admitted into a school; unfortunately, many students in the city do not receive the benefits of the arts. The Rosedale Way focuses on collaboration and skill-building. We do not screen students by audition and do not expect them to choose a “major”. Instead, students are encouraged to experiment with various arts disciplines and discover their talents and ways of self-expression. The ability to synthesize and adapt to new information will become a fundamental skill in the 21st Century. Our graduates are equipped with the tools to use their environment to respond to an ever-changing world. Carol Dweck believes that there are two approaches to intelligence: Fixed and Growth. Fixed mindset learners believe that they have a set amount of skills and talents, and growth mindset students believe that their intelligence and abilities can be developed over time. The school aims to encourage the second approach by providing all students with the tools they need to develop their capacity for lifelong learning and creativity development.

Reviews Summary

Several reviewers contend that Rosedale Academy is a superb school. Nevertheless, some comments were humorous and might not be helpful for, like one commenter contacted from the future. Acknowledgment and bliss for the school conducted coffee liker gods are typical, because of the school's pleasures and because it is cool, slick, and pretty. Mixed experiences were discussed in this issue, but most reviewers stated that it was beneficial. Amusing critiques include the school's greatness and whether they suit your purposes. Positive comments, compliments, and praise from former graduates' practices were linked to growth, respect, and admiration of the school and its society. Random comments such as "graduation 2022" one writer decided to comment positively on but not assess. Someone even rated it 10/10 for conducting a ritual in the future, because they must have a potent reason to rate it so highly. My summary is that this helps me know the students' views on the school but might not be accurate due to the joking.
