Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that requires strength, flexibility, and agility. Being a beautiful sport, the demands are great. As in many other sports, the discipline involves coordinated movements and is artistic, but it requires the gymnast's natural feel with a high level of technical precision. Apparatus includes a ball, a hoop, a ribbon, a ball, a ribbon, a rope, and clubs. Annely Rasiga and Siena Kasekamp founded Ritmika Rhythmic Gym Club in 1980. Today, the club has grown to become one of Canada's largest rhythmic gymnastics clubs. Ritmika is a multicultural gymnastics organization with over 40 years of experience. The institution also offers rhythmic gymnastics programs that are suitable for everyone, from 3 years to adult. Recreational rhythmic gymnastics program The rhythmic gymnastics approach from a recreational point of view teaches fundamental rhythmic gymnastics and basic apparatus techniques in a supportive and friendly environment. The workout incorporates exercises that focus on strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and teamwork. Gymnasts are happy to demonstrate their progress at the Ritmika Year-End Shows held every year. Elite rhythmic gymnastics program A rhythmic gymnast demonstrating elite skills is the ultimate satisfaction. These are the athletes who spend long hours in the gym to perfect their routines. Most of the time, these groups are selected by tryout. The rhythmic gymnastics performance group must be intensely trained, work together as a team, and learn several routines a year. Every year, some elite gymnasts are selected to represent Canada and Ritmika in local and international competitions.
