Welcome to Vaughan Gymnastics Club, Vaughan's first and largest artistic gymnastics club. We have provided gymnastics lessons to youth aged 2-18 for the past 30 years. The club was founded in 1989, with groups and instructors increasing each year. In the first year, 100 kids were enrolled in the class, and the club had 5 instructors. At present, we have over 750 registered recreational members and a competitive team of more than 100 children. Our staff now stands at over 30, and every member has a gymnastics background. They were once athletes and are now coaches dedicated to the sport. The club has served as a training center for many athletes who represented Canada at the Maccabiah Games and Commonwealth Games.
The 1-hour program is divided into four development groups for girls, with classes lasting 55 minutes. Each group has a bar, beam, floor, vault, and trampoline. This program is designed to help children aged 4 to 5 develop balance, strength, and coordination as they conquer gymnastic skill challenges. The 6 to 1 class ratio is important, as this enhances learning proficiency and helps trainers focus on each child's progression.
