Great Beginnings

Unique, non-profit Great Beginnings works through a partnership with Windsor University and the community. We offer flexible child care options for Windsor/Essex County families. Our aim is to celebrate each child's uniqueness and create learning environments that foster respect, acceptance, and growth. Our learning environment allows licensed educators to adapt to the learning outcome's evolving, guided by children's play interests. This learning can be documented and observed. The design of Great Beginnings was influenced by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy in child care and early education. While Great Beginnings does not aim to reproduce this philosophy in its entirety due to the uniqueness of our community, including families, teachers, and child-care providers at home, many of its principles still apply.

The childcare centre received overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents. Several reviewers praised its excellent staff and experienced educators, with most saying it was a great learning centre.
