I hold a Certified Training Partner credential from the Karen Pryor Academy, a diploma in Applied Ethology, and a Family Dog Mediator certification. I employ reward-based training so both the dog and owner enjoy the experience. Training includes holistic activities for the dog, including Pack Walks (where we teach basic leash manners), Socialization with Other Dogs (in a controlled environment), Interactive Play, Settle, Impulse Control Training. Day training is from Tues-Fri 10 am-2 pm (4 hours). This is a limited availability day camp. This costs $35 per person per day and includes Pack Walks, Socialization with Other Dogs, Interactive Play, Settle Training and Impulse Control. Another service we offer is a confidence-building day camp. Clients can pay an additional fee for their dogs to be picked up and brought to our facility. It is excellent for building confidence and socialization in dogs with impulse control problems. The dogs will be taught different obstacles on the obstacle course. This is a confidence-building day camp. We have built an obstacle course for dogs here in our facility. The dogs are brought in one at a time and taught how to navigate the course. The course can be modified for all skill levels. There are dogs with no previous experience in agility and those with experience. The cost of this service is $180 per session. We will be planning to offer rally sports such as rally-o and agility training as we grow our business. We hope to host specialized workshops with other trainers from time to time.
