Rural Ontario Institute

The Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program is ideal for those seeking to influence rural Ontario's future and affect farming. The program lasts 18 months. Each class is created to fulfill its participants' diverse needs. Peer-to-peer mentoring, interrelationships, and a vast network development are all made possible by participant selection. Their backgrounds reflect their selection. This allows them to present unique viewpoints and fosters balanced, thought-provoking discourse on key problems. This curriculum comprises seminars, international and North American study tours, and small group projects on agriculture, food, and rural concerns. The program involves roughly 45 days of programming. The program emphasizes fundamental developments and a safe yet challenging environment to practise them. Each class's curriculum is tailored to address major problems and encourage multi-stakeholder thinking and critical self-analysis.
