Play-Based Daycare at The School House Early Learning Centre Our daycare uses the play-based approach to learning. Children learn primarily through play-based activities. We design our curriculum for the play-based environment, focusing on each child's interests and needs. We believe that learning happens in many areas and at various developmental stages during their day at the School House Daycare. During our daycare hours, children can participate in various activities based on their developmental stage and personal interests. We use observation to make informed assessments that allow us to apply them to our Early Learning for Every Child Today developmental milestones. Respect and Morality We also value respect, manners, and self-control. At The School House Daycare, we teach children the importance of being respectful and polite to others. Every day, we emphasize the use of the Ontario Curriculum in our daycare environment. We create our curriculum based on the guidelines provided by the curriculum. All Year Operation at The School House Early Learning Centre Our day care is open all year from 6:00am to 6:00pm. If you want to enroll your kids in our Summer Program or March Break Program, register early. The number of places is limited.
