Windsor Dance eXperience Inc. is a not-for-profit theatre dance company. With the aim of providing local children with a creative outlet and physical activity, this organization is unique. We make dance and theatre available to anyone who loves to perform, regardless of their arts background. Established in 2003, Windsor Dance eXperience Inc. (WDX) is a volunteer-run, youth-focused theatrical dance company. Since 2003, WDX has performed over 50 shows, allowing more than 300 dancers to express themselves. WDX provides Windsorites of all ages the chance to participate in this creative and physical activity. WDX produces up to four presentations each year, which involve about 90 dancers from the community. Every age group gets to direct their own production, giving children leadership opportunities. Experience in costumes, set and lighting design, stage management, props, and more is provided for a whole theatrical experience. WDX believes in youth involvement and arts education. Our mission is to build a safe and positive atmosphere for all children, encouraging them to develop their self-esteem. Our organization also provides subsidized school shows for children to experience real theater. School workshops, in which an instructor brings dance workshops to the classroom, are also available.
