Dr. Omar Fouda Neel, FRCSC, FACS

I had my first rhinoplasty in 2017 with Dr. Omar Fouda Neel. I originally had a long, bony nose, but after the surgery I was left with a much wider nose, a very bulbous tip, scars on the sides, and most importantly, a deep and very noticeable scar/indentation across the bridge of my nose that I still have today. The result completely changed my life. It put me into a very deep depression for years. I struggled to work, go out, socialize, and even feel comfortable being around people. I eventually had to travel to Iran and have another surgery just to try to improve the shape of my nose. It helped somewhat, but I was still left with the deep scar on my bridge, the side scars, and the bulbous tip. Dr. Fouda did try to fix the scar, but unfortunately it didn’t help. After that, instead of continuing to help me with the result of my surgery, he moved to Saudi Arabia and I was left to deal with everything on my own. He eventually blocked me on his social media platforms. After everything I had already gone through, being blocked by the surgeon who performed my surgery made me feel completely abandoned and dismissed. I was left with the scars, the results, and the emotional damage, while he simply moved on. I also reached out to the Montreal clinic hoping they would help me, but I did not feel supported at all. I will never forget being told by the nurses, “Everything comes with a price,” and Dr. Fouda telling me, “I’m not a magician to fix it the way you want.” I wasn’t asking for magic or perfection. I was asking for help after a surgery that had such a huge impact on my life. I am still dealing with the emotional effects of this experience today. I still struggle with depression, and I cannot afford the extremely high cost of another revision surgery to try to fix what happened. This experience has affected me for years emotionally, financially, and personally. It is something I wish I had never gone through. Based on my personal experience, I would never recommend this clinic or Dr. Fouda to anyone considering rhinoplasty. Please do your research very carefully before trusting someone with something as important as your face.
