TAP Art Space supports contemporary art investigations in its new location in Toronto, ON, as of fall 2020. TAP stands for Temporary Art Projects. The project is an independent art space with Audrey-Anne Morin & Marx Ruiz Wilson, who founded it in the Spring of 2018. The project wanted to create spaces in Montreal to display diverse artists' work and ideas. TAP urged exploration and experimentation in the multidisciplinary arts. Artist David Bellemare worked for the Montreal artist-run center from 2017 to 2019. He's a collage artist today. Collage is the foundation of his work. In his view, painting and sculpture result in a copy/paste method. That Bellemare dares to juxtapose one photo with another, to make a new one, gives them new meanings. The sources are used books, the internet, popular culture, and sacred rituals. This disparity helps create an uncomfortable feeling that dots the surface of their paintings. From kitsch to grandiose, from the banal to the sacred, the gap between the worlds they make activates them.

The art gallery has enthusiastic endorsement in the evaluations, with guests remarking on the enchanting and endearing space. Several people recognized the gallery's situation, especially recommending it as a meeting location for art enthusiasts. Tim Meisseiller's vernissage received a lot of positive feedback, hinting at a highly valued artist and attendees were happy to attend. In brief, the hidden gem continues receiving a lot of positive feedback, with users expressing gratitude for the district's first-class artistry and social meeting location.
