Orthodontist Tellier Yves

Dr. Yves Tellier, a dentist, holds a Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Montreal. College Jean de Brebeuf awarded him a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude). He attended the Graduate College at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he studied pediatric dentistry (specialty) and histology (MSc). He moved to Montreal and opened his own practice office for pediatrics. After a few years, he successfully attained a second doctorate in dental medicine and a diploma in orthodontics at the University of Montreal. For over thirty years, he has practiced orthodontics exclusively. Dr. Tellier has served in administrative and management positions in several organizations, including the Association of Dental Surgeons of Quebec, where he served as a board director and eventually as president. He was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Dental Association and the Quebec Orthodontic Association, which he would later serve as president. He was also a consultant for the Ministry of Education of Quebec for the development of a dental hygiene-teaching program for CEGEPS. At the University of Illinois and the University of Montreal, he taught theoretical and practical courses. He has also been a speaker in many professional and international conferences and study groups. He was also the first Canadian orthodontist to embrace the Damon system exclusively in 1997. He attends the "Damon Forum," an annual international seminar for the innovation and improvement of the implementation of this new system.
