Cathedral Art School & Studio was taken over by Brandie Rae Perkins on September 30, 2020. She was born and raised in Saskatchewan and is a self-taught, mixed media, and acrylic painter. This multidisciplinary artist specializes in alcohol inks and acrylic painting. Brandie is from an artsy background and began experimenting with her art at an early age. As she has grown, she has adapted her art to many mediums. She is part of an artsy community, which promotes collaboration and offers her the opportunity to learn from others. Brandie is always up for a challenge and eager to learn. This has allowed her to complete various projects and bring ideas to life in unfamiliar media. Her work is heavily influenced by her trips and time spent in the wild. Brandie’s artwork is characterized by heavy texture and color theory. She directs the school’s daily operations and teaches adult art samples, alcohol-based ink, family workshops, and mixed media kids’ classes.

Reviewers love the classes, activities, programs, and the facility. They highly recommend the institution for its educational programs, such as art and ceramics. Reviewers advise others to sign up quickly as any most popular classes fill up quickly. Many students are enthusiastic about the arts and have positive feelings about the classes and studio. Some have reported that the facility appears old, which has led to some areas being cold. The establishment is proud of its art workshops that encourage creativity and self-expression.
