Hugo was devoted to his community and family and lived as an artist for both. Hugo taught art for 20 years and became a friend, mentor, and teacher to many. Please visit his Gallery Page to see more of his artwork. Hugo updated his gallery each time he completed a painting, sold, or donated artwork. Hugo's Gallery is exactly how he left it. This includes values for 2020, and sold notices. The remaining works are not available for purchase and now belong to his private collection. And the vineyards seemed to stretch forever. I began my career as an artist with the smell of grass, eucalyptus, and rain.
