My studio, Red Fox Creative, promotes creative and thoughtful living. I plan to assist people in their requirements for creative services that motivate, nurture, and sustain them, resulting in a more creative and fulfilling society. Promoting creative and mindful living is the driving force behind Red Fox Creative. Kristin McPherson, a Regina-based artist, art instructor, and professional photographer, has a broad scope of commercial and editorial subjects that she shoots with elegance and cleanliness. Kristin's roots in Saskatchewan's visual arts run deep. Kristin grew up in Bethune, Saskatchewan, in an art-loving family. Art was everywhere, from painting to sculpture to sketching. As Kristin observed the adults in her life creating art and valuing it, she developed a strong desire to also make beautiful things. While Kristin is formally trained in photography, most of the art was self-taught. She attended Medicine Hat College for two years studying fine arts, then spent another two years on the SIAST Regina Campus (currently Sask PolyTech). Kristin was named the Professional Photographers of Canada Student Photographer of the Year in 1997, she then graduated from SIAST’s Applied Photography Program. Her career in commercial photography evolved from there. Kristin rediscovered her love for paint in an experimental acrylic class. This return to her craft planted the early seeds for her modernist style. Kristin has been a commercial and portrait photographer for over 25 years. She helped many photographers in Saskatchewan for over 25 years. By working as a Commercial Photography assistant, she has traveled Canada. Kristin has worked with many high-end commercial clients such as FCC, Tourism Saskatchewan and Workers Compensation Board. She has also worked with Conexus, Regina Airport Authority, Tourism Saskatchewan, Phoenix Group, Regina Airport Authority, CPAs (Chartered Professional Accountants), FCCs (Farm Credit Canada), Creative Kidss, Global Mindss, Stoneground paint Co. Edge Modelling Agency, and Framemasters Gallery (aka Black Dog).
