Urbanization alters natural landscapes to meet human needs. However, it may threaten species that live in these areas. The University of Saskatchewan (USask) research team is collaborating with claims adjusters, crop insurers, and lenders to develop a one-of-a-kind office and lab at USask. David MacTaggart was included in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic alumni magazine for his work in research communication. Advanced education honed MacTaggart’s research communication. Jeremy Irvine, a fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness-Agriculture student majoring in Agronomy, is working on research supervised by Dr. Sean Prager, Ph.D.
