Alie & Elsie Jewelry was founded in 2007 when polymer clay beads were my hobby.⠀My inventory expanded, so I took pictures and took a trip to the craft fair. I was hooked and had to sell all the beads that I had made. Lampworking was my second hobby. This involves taking glass tubes and rods and shaping or forming them with a torch. After learning how to make glass beads, I combined these beads with 14kt gold Filled findings and .925 Sterling Silver to make unique pieces. Although the business now specializes in Silver and Gold Jewelry, they still make glass beads to this very day. Alie & Elsie Jewelry by Chelsea James started in Rouleau, SK, in 2007 before moving to Red Deer AB, AB, for a few years. Chelsea moved back to Saskatchewan in 2017, and she currently resides there. Alie & Elsie Jewelry came from Chelsea’s wonderful grandmothers, Alie & Elsie. Chelsea learned from both of these amazing women how to make everything out of nothing. With their encouragement and constant teaching, she was able to grow into the woman and business owner that she is. Their way of life and how they approached each task in life was an inspiration to Chelsea and helped mold her into the woman she is today. Chelsea's jewelry business now has three locations. Chelsea began to sell her glass and silver jewelry in Red Deer, then she moved to Regina in 2017. Today you can visit the newest Alie & Elsie Jewelry store in West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton, AB, along with two other locations in Southland Mall, Regina, SK, and Lawson Heights Mall, Saskatoon SK.
