About this business
The death of a pet is life-changing, perhaps more than other losses, making it one of the most painful moments you will ever encounter. Nature has not prepared us for the loss of a pet, which makes it even more challenging. Passing Paws has been designed to be a place where your beloved pet will be cared for as if they were our family.
We are passionate about what we do. Lisa, Courtney, and Brooklyn have been pet owners their whole lives, and they have been working in the industry for more than 11 years. We realized that we were meant to do the gentle, green process of aquamation. We realized that we could support the Saskatoon pet owners in their deepest grief by respecting Mother Nature and your beloved pet. Love and memories live on for a lifetime. (Passing Paws, n.d.)
In today's society, change can bring opportunities, leaving us inspired, even when it feels rattling. We were distressed to learn that when it comes to pet care, cremation is our only option. After some research, we realized that aquamation was an alternative. This gentle process involved water. We also found that it is more environmentally friendly. Over a year, we opened our doors to the public. We fell in love with aquamation immediately.
