About Me Mother to three girls.  A mom and a sister, a friend and a daughter.  Born and raised in Saskatoon (SK).  I have always dreamed of being a published photographer of dance. Thanks to the amount of love and support I have received I can now say that I am just that. Photography, in my experience, never really was anything more than capturing the beauty of life. Now, I have been given the opportunity to make it about so much more. I try to tell a story with every image I capture. It is important that I have a relationship with my clients when I capture their moments.  This allows them to let go and have fun and let their hair down and all of the pictures turn out unique as they are truly themselves instead of a posed smile. As a former dance instructor (ballet and Ukrainian)  I would love to have a picture like this.  I only have some photos that were taken in the studio (close up with a white back ground) with a silly smile that looks washed out on my face.  I can’t even tell it is me really.  It is hard to believe that I can look so unrecognizable.  My life was filled with dance and that is all I have left to remind me of it. Now that my daughters are dancers, I want to decorate their rooms with huge wall photos of me dancing.  They can look and see how it was done and how it felt.  That is what inspired me by my daughters and I am hoping that it will inspire many more dancers.
