The death of a loved one is difficult for friends and family. The survivors are also faced with tough choices about the deceased's belongings, which can be stressful. Furthermore, I have eight years of experience working with Cameco Corporation's Board of Directors and four years with the University of Saskatchewan Board of Governors and Senate, which has enabled me to gain governance experience. I have also served on non-profit boards (Friends of the Broadway Theatre Foundation, Varsity View Co-operative Preschool, and St. Martin's United Church) and corporate boards as a volunteer director. Currently, I serve on the St. Andrew's College Board of Regents.
