Client Feedback Summary: Communication was excellent, and no questions were too silly in our house sale and purchase. Everything was always clearly responded to. Many thanks to Shelley Dancer for her great communications. Phoebe was always helpful and tireless in chasing up a particularly difficult situation I see good and bad reviews from people who use them so every case is individual but from my perspective they get the lowest score. I was not Frettens client, Frettens being the seller's solicitor and me the buyer. What should have been a quick simple no chain cash purchase was complicated by many factors driven by Frettens. Five different solicitors past from one to another. Two locations to deal with over time. Very slow to reply or just not engaging even with continued requests and prompts. Basic mistakes on critical documents. Inability to understand their mistakes without detailed conversation to highlight them. Driving costs up on my side to get responses, documents and engagement. I can't comment on the vendors view on the service they received but from my side I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. All I can say is thank god for my solicitor being on the ball. Very good service. Great contact and dealt with all issues really well. Friendly and effcicient, very happy with their professional approach. This is the second time I have instructed Frettens. The team at Frettens were great. On this occasion I used two solicitors for different matters, and both were efficient, professional, and dealt with all enquiries and actions promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Frettens again. Tahnee is very competent and efficient, always responding to emails and phone calls very quickly. I engaged Frettens to act for me on a property sale. At one level, given the property was sold, their service was satisfactory. However, I was ultimately extremely disappointed with the solicitor assigned to me. In particular, there was very limited communication. Their promised 'regular feedback' never materialised and I literally had to cajole responses from them. Everything was extremely impersonal with email being the default communication tool; I never actually met the solicitor and spoke no more than three times on the telephone. The overriding impression being conveyed was that my solicitor was simply flitting from one case to another and not actually concentrating on any one particular task. Given my experience, I certainly have no intention of ever engaging Frettens again and will do my best to dissuade friends and family from using them. Professional and timely service Major issues on completion, waiting over 1 month to be contacted (still waiting now) 3 voice mails left and emails sent. Soon as they got the payment they didn’t seem interested. I would avoid. Fantastic experience, can’t recommend Clare Hallett and her team enough for residential conveyancing. Frettens have been absolutely amazing during our house buying process. Cheryl was fantastic, always communicating with us and answering any questions we had as first time buyers. I would highly recommend Frettens as they made this process smooth and straightforward. A massive thank you for all their hard work throughout this process! Edward was amazing.
