I came for a stat Dec witness signature and was told it is £5+£2 per extra document. I brought 1 document to be signed and another as a copy for the solicitor (standard practice) and they charged me to sign both but didn't tell me that at the time just took my money £10 and then when I called up about it later decided that charging me for the document and their copy was fair. They also overcharged me even if the copy was chargeable as it should have been £7 based on what I was told not £10. They had an issue when I complained about it and told me they won't book any more appointments due to this. It's ridiculous and they have been completely dishonest.3. Sent an enquiry via email through their message portal on their site and couldn’t even be bothered to return a response. Il go elsewhere.4. Excellent solicitors, offer lots of services, fully explained and with easy to follow information. Excellent customer service and value their clients. All staff are very friendly and pleasant and are very patient with people who are not so IT friendly. All staff offer brilliant customer service. My initial introduction to Mayo Wynne Baxter was with Justine who is a very nice and friendly lady, very good customer service and all my further dealings will be with Roshni. I'm very happy.5. I'm towards the end of a house sale using online conveyancing, which isn't the best. I was informed I needed to get a statutory declaration just before exchange and completion. I called several firms in the area and it was answer phone almost straight away. I thought this is going to be a nightmare. Then when I called this firm, I got an answer after a couple of rings. I explained my situation and the urgency of it. I was advised they would see what they could do and would call me back. I did think will they call back because the fee for this service was only a few pounds. But they did call back within the hour and booked me in for the next day. I would also like to add a member of my party that needed to also sign was running late on the day. I apologised on his behalf and I was treated with kindness. They were doing me a favour really. After a really stressful week the experience here really made up for it. I greatly appreciated the courtesy and professionalism. Thank you to Helen and the lovely women that I spoke to in the office, and finally Stephen for his patience. If I ever have anything legal in the future, this will be my first and only choice.7. This is the second time I have used MWB to sell a property in the previous 15 months, having had a great customer experience the first time. Once again I can honestly say that the service received from Michelle, Sally and the team has been outstanding. A clear customer focus and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent communication, flexible to one's needs and friendly. Other solicitors are of course available but given my experiences with MWB, they are certainly a hard act to follow.
