Special thanks to Matthew for his speedy responses and attention to detail. Would highly recommend -Remortgaging: I’ve waited to do this review so I can ensure I’m being fair. Liverpool legal strung me along when I was remortgaging my home. They assured me they were on the panel for all parties involved and would be able to assist me. I asked about time scales wanting to ensure everything was good to go in good time, but was rudely told that they had to act on the interest of both parties so they couldn't give me any assurances. Of course i get that, but surely wanting to ensure that the remortgage can proceed is in the interests of all parties involved. Getting a call back, or booking time in, was extremely difficult. I booked in a meeting with the team and just one hour later, after 5pm so I could not sort it, they emailed me to say that actually 'due to a technical issue' they were suspended from the panels they needed to be on. This was after weeks of conversation - terrifible customer service, had they been honest with me up front, I would not have have to scramble to fix.associa in addition they explained how my situation was not simple at all, and proceeded to inform me of what I actually needed to do (underlining the text in the email). Now, the reason I waited to post my review, was simply to ensure that this process could in fact be completed in good time. Used another firm - completely professional and extremely friendly, something Liverpool Legal seem to be lacking. The team worked fast on my remortgage, and have had no issues at all with the now even shorter timescale (due to Liverpool Legal lack of communication). Remortgage completed - all parties involved are happy, without once implying to me that my needs were not as important as the banks, and turns out that the section Liverpool Legal underlined in their email, letting me know where I was going wrong, was in face incorrect - how patronising. Thank you Liverpool Legal, you've actually pointed me in the direction of a better firm, who I will absolutely use in the future. -House purchase (simple): went really smoothly and stress free. Colin kept us up to date and was very helpful. Many thanks! -New build house purchase (complex): Used Liverpool Legal for, what turned out to be, a complicated new build house purchase. They were incredibly thorough and conscientious to ensure the house purchase went smoothly. Would highly recommend. -Personal injury (PI): Dealt with a PI case for me and my daughter. Very professional, swift responses and my claim was dealt with in matter of months Would highly recommend -Relationship property issue: Colin has been first class, very good at what he does and highly knowledgable. Fully recommended. -Negligent communication will prevent my claim: Shocking service ! I am now 2 months away from being time barred from claiming for an accident I had where I slipped and fell breaking 3 ribs ! This is now in danger of being time barred ! I have had hardly any contact from this supposed legal service that I actually went to on the back of my previous experience of using Rex Makin and co and now I realise what a mistake this was as this is no longer a professional firm that deals with you professionally ! Just talking to the receptionist over my sheer frustration of me not getting updated on my case and the fact “‘ shock I had an email “ to tell me that yet another solicitor has taken on my case ?lWhy does everyone leave ? I told the receptionist it was not good and I would of taken my case to a more competent solicitors if I had known how long and unprofessional they had been regarding the time to update and the fact my case is always changing hands ! So I mention I may take it to another solicitors so I’m not time barred ,to the receptionist which was met with , “ well that’s up to you if your not happy “ I will get someone to call you I just answer the phone , bye Mrs Keygan, and phone gets slammed down ! Well what a lovely company! Waste of time and if your thinking of using them fur personal injury don’t waste your time and find a more reliable reputable firm as I’m beyond annoyed I bothered to trust them with my case ! If this is time barred because of negligence on their part I will be putting an official complaint and a claim to their insurer to pay what I’m legally owed that’s a fact ! Waste of time ! -Professionalism: Promised a call back but never bothered… my mistake! They did and I missed it - they have been great.
