A summary of responses from our customers. Here are some of them: Customer feedback summary 1. Fantastic experience. 2. Recently had an unfortunate situation with my employer, contacted WM and was put through to Eloise, from the initial meeting through to completion Eloise made the stressful situation stress-free. Everything was resolved professionally and I had updates throughout. Many thanks to Eloise and her colleagues. 3. We were fortunate enough to have the support of Liz Dack for our recent property purchase. From the beginning, she was always available and responsive to our requests, she was tenacious in pursuit of our interests with our counterpart’s solicitors and focused on resolution of outstanding issues. She was also a pleasure to deal with. 4. Very very good Solicitors. Whitehead and Monkton are splendid legal professionals who provided me with support at a challenging time. I deeply appreciate their help. 5. Eloise was fantastic helped me every step of the way! 6. Thank you to Eloise and Rebecca for the assistance on my case. I had a lovely experience from the start, great care and communication throughout. WM was recommended to me by a friend and I would also recommend them to others! 7. Very disappointing experience. I was told my divorce wouldn’t cost “tens of thousands”, yet the final bill came to around £34,000. Towards the end, when things were already wrapping up, I kept receiving unnecessary chargeable letters that asked for updates about matters that were already in progress. Extremely annoying and unnecessary. The last straw was I was disputing £700 of the bill. Instead of emailing me, they sent letters to an old address and issued a CCJ. After spending £34k with the firm, that felt completely unnecessary and very disappointing. 8. Eloise was very professional, helpful and offered advice throughout the process. I had an employment issue that needed dealing with. Eloise kept me informed of the progress throughout. Would highly recommend this company and Eloise 9. I cannot recommend Whitehead Monckton highly enough. From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful and daunting process completely painless and straightforward. In particular, Eloise and Rebecca were exceptional. They were professional, approachable and incredibly clear in their communication, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring I felt fully supported at each stage. Their calm, efficient and reassuring approach made a real difference and removed any unnecessary worry. Thanks to their expertise and attention to detail, my settlement agreement with my former employer was handled smoothly and efficiently. I am extremely grateful for their support and would not hesitate to recommend Whitehead Monckton to anyone needing clear, expert and compassionate legal advice. 10. Very professional debt recovery department. Extremely helpful and efficient. Highly recommended. 11. Whitehead Monckton recently provided me with legal advice. They were extremely professional both in delivering the work in a timely manner and in the level of attention to detail. The solicitor I spoke with was flexible, clearly understood the instruction and provided invaluable guidance. I highly recommend their services. 12. I unfortunately needed to use a solicitor recently as I was made redundant while on Maternity Leave. I was put in contact with Eloise Jones, an employment solicitor working for Whitehead Monckton, and from beginning to end, I had the best experience with her. She was always available to contact, all communication was clear, formal and efficient. She made such a stressful situation a lot easier for me with her knowledge of the law and my rights, as well as her compassion for the situation I was in. Really can’t thank her enough for her time and effort while assisting me, I do hope to never be in the same situation but if I was, I’d be using her again without any doubt. 13. I made a phone call to arrange for legal advice and an appointment. I was told someone would call me back. Over a week later - making more phone calls to chase my initial enquiry and still no one bothered to phone back. What diabolical customer service and a total waste of my time. My situation unnecessarily prolonged by an unprofessional Company! Zero stars from me! 14. Just usual greed without empathy all they care about is money. Soulless but pretending to care. All solicitors are similar but some are worse than others 15. Sam Shoesmith (Senior Dispute Solicitor) Sam was my solicitor from June 2020 to June 2025, through covid and beyond. In the whole of the 5years Sam has always provided exemplary professional advice and always sound pragmatic options and ways to proceed. I needed to find Sam when a family member engaged a solicitor as an attempt to try to force an early submission when I uncovered money being loaned over the previous 10 years before my father passed. They tried to say that it was gifted but all the paperwork and bank statements showed all the alleged moneys were clearly documented as being lent. I needed to find a litigation solicitor, and ideallly a good litigation solicitor, there weren't that many around when I was looking. I asked around my network of contacts who had insight into the legal profession in/around kent. Sams name came up from 2 or three people as an extremely competent and solid litigation solicitor that had had cut his teeth as a contract lawyer. This, I thought was an exceptional candidate, and had no concerns engaging Sam. This good feeling was only vindicated when we met to start, what would turn out to be, a 5yr journey. Sams pragmatic, professional open and approachable manner was always on the money. This along with his prompt replies or informing communication (both eMail and when urgent or appropriate phone call) meant that at no time did I feel doubt or uncertainty in the way my case was being managed. During the 5yrs yrs Sam has built his reputation in the Litigation field and advanced in his recognition to being a Senior Litigation Solicitor. This has been from when i engaged his services with CWJ in Orpington, through Knocker & Foskett in Sevenoaks to WM in Maidstone. Sam in comparison to my assigned FamilyTrust solicitor, who was anything but knowledgeable or supportive, was the polar opposite. In summary if you need initial advice, or to engage a solicitor in any form of dispute resolution, contact Sam and have an initial chat. Sam will always be there for you. Just for good measure Sams final bill was fair and given the amount of work less than it could have been. Every Penny very well invested into an exceptional litigation solicitor but also a genuinely caring and decent human being. Thank you Sam you made something that is regularly a horror story into an informed, and nearly a pleasant, but always an informed and manageable experience
