A brief history of the problem or treatment: I would normally use the NHS physio referral service and wouldn’t consider going to a private provider. However I had a sudden knee problem develop and four days of tennis referee work starting the following day, so needed some advice urgently. I was seen same day and treatment prescribed. Paying for this service was absolutely money well spent. I not only received the advice I needed but also came away in less pain and able to use my leg normally. A few days of the prescribed exercises improved things even more. Good to know this reliable service is there if I need it again. The physiotherapist(s): Manny, was the physio I saw for the sessions which I had. I had never seen a physio before but due to having an ankle break I needed that guidance to get me back to being active and exercising! The sessions were always informative and reassuring to know improvements were being made. He was such a knowledgeable and lovely physio which I would recommend to anyone and the result is in the progress I have made from not being able to comfortably walk to now being back to running pain free!
